# Post-Liquidation Value

Liquidators make payments in USDC to acquire liquidated positions. A small portion of the USDC amount will be **deducted and** **allocated to lenders as a reward** for their capital contribution. As a result, Stella highly recommends all users to monitor their positions closely to avoid unwanted liquidation which will hurt positions' value.

Once the process is completed, **the owner of the liquidated position can claim the remaining value in USDC.e.**
